Q&A
- Checking the status of an order placed this past Monday. Please advise…the charge has hit my American Express for approx $60.00 but I don’t have any idea when to expect delivery. Thank you.
- Hello Charles, Thank you for reaching out to Garrett Wade. Please feel free to open another chat interaction or send us an email at mail@garrettwadvogue.com or by calling our phone number at +1 800-221-2942 if you need further assistance. Thank you for contacting Garrett Wade!
- How does the quick release work
- You press the steel lever at the top to lower the lift.
- I would like to use the jack to lift an automobile tire up to the mounting lugs on a wheel, but I am concerned that the lifting arm will not have enough surface area to hold the tire. Could you please advise the dimensions of the lifting arm. Thank You
- John, the footprint of the jack is 2 3/8"x 2 3/4". the actual lift part is 1 1/2" x 3/4". The weight capacity is 300lbs but probably not wide enough to lift your tyre. Thank you.
- Great idea! A pair of these could be really useful for many chores! But it's hard to tell what it's made of. Is it perhaps all Stainless Steel, except the handles (they look like plastic.)? And if the handles are plastic, does the upper handle have a metal center core than runs, back to the frame & does the metal "tang" on the lower handle extend deeper into the handle than it appears? (I'm just wondering about if a plastic handle breaks)? (Or maybe those "black" parts aren't plastic at all?)
- Paul, the Jack is all metal. The black part you see in the photo is cast and the silver is steel. I have a couple myself and I recommend them. Thank you.
- What are the dimensions of this jack, I don’t see them listed in ad.
- Dave, the Jack is 10" high, the footprint is 2 3/4" x 2 3/8' , the lifting capacity is 5 3/4" and can lift up to 300lbs, the unit weighs 1.25lbs. Thank you.
